Ragie joins Ticketmaster
Today, we’re excited to announce that Ragie will be joining Ticketmaster!
It’s been quite the journey since April 1st, 2024 when we first started writing the code for Ragie. Although the start date was peculiar, the problem we were solving was real.
The idea for Ragie spawned from a conversation that Mohammed and I had one day while we were both brainstorming startup ideas. Mohammed was consulting for different companies that all seemed to want the same infrastructure, and I was deeply interested in connectivity and helping companies feed their own data into AI applications. We kept coming back to the same problem: companies had an enormous amount of valuable data, but getting that data into AI systems in a reliable, secure, and useful way was still far too hard.
The result of that conversation eventually became Ragie. We were lucky to get support from an all-star cast of investors who shared our vision early, and even luckier to get to work with customers who pushed us, challenged us, and helped shape the product into something real.
Fast forward to today, and Ragie solves a problem that thousands of companies struggle with. We’ve helped customers process millions of documents and built a truly capable document processing pipeline that works as a drop-in solution for teams that need a robust RAG engine. Along the way, we’ve built agentic retrieval, context-aware MCP, and several other innovative features that make it easier for companies to connect their data to AI applications and agents.
We’ve learned so much while building Ragie. The space has changed quickly, and data access, retrieval, and context management have evolved rapidly over the last couple of years. But the core problem has remained incredibly important: AI applications and agents are only as useful as the context they can access, understand, and act on.
That is a big reason why we’re so excited about what comes next.
Ticketmaster operates at a scale where data, systems, customers, artists, teams, and live events all intersect in complex and meaningful ways. It is exactly the kind of environment where the problems we’ve spent the last two years thinking about matter deeply. We’re excited to take what we’ve learned from building Ragie and apply it inside an enterprise that powers some of the most important live experiences in the world.
For our customers, investors, friends, and everyone who has supported us along the way: thank you. Every conversation, piece of feedback, bug report, introduction, and word of encouragement helped shape Ragie into what it became.
Most importantly, thank you to the amazing team we built along the way. Ragie would not exist without the people who poured their talent, energy, and care into the product, our customers, and each other. Building a company is hard, and we were lucky to do it with a group of people who cared deeply, moved quickly, and made the journey fun.
We’re proud of what we built, and we’re even more excited for what’s ahead.
Sincerely,
Bob & Mohammed
